A LockDown Browser is a tool that locks a student's computer when they begin a quiz, allowing them to interact only with the quiz.
How to set up?
Navigate to your course and select LockDown Browser (1) from the course navigation menu. This will open a new page displaying all the quizzes in your course.
Locate the quiz for which you want to require LockDown Browser. Click the dropdown menu button (2), then select Settings (3).
New settings will appear. Select "Require LockDown Browser for this exam" (4), then select "Save + Close" (5).
Authorize Respondus
The first time you use LockDown Browser, you will need to authorize Respondus to access the quizzes in your Canvas account. To do this, navigate to the LockDown Browser tab, then click Authorize (1).
