Elon University is gradually replacing WebAdvisor, the platform that powers the OnTrack system, with Ellucian's Self-Service platform. This initiative is well underway and is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. In addition to the Self-Service transition, this modernization effort includes transitioning OnTrack authentication to Elon's single sign-on (SSO) system. Soon users will be able to sign-in to OnTrack using their Elon Account username and password as they would other applications. As an added benefit, the move to SSO provides an extra layer of security to OnTrack thru the use of DUO Security, Elon's multi-factor authentication platform.

Single Sign-On Conversion | Summer '22
This summer, Information Technology will be working to transition OnTrack's unique authentication to Elon's single sign-on system. Once completed, this move will replace the Reset My Password and Change My Password pages. A part of this project will be to replace the Elon University Account Information page where incoming students are sent to activate their Elon Account.
