Campus Technologies will never ask you for your password in an email.
If you receive an email message asking you to verify account information or to take action to avoid loss of email service, delete the email. These messages are merely an attempt to lure you into revealing personal information to identity thieves. NEVER respond to messages asking you for your email password or email your password to anyone! Any legitimate communication from Information Technology regarding email accounts will be delivered through multiple channels including E-Net and campus mail. All legitimate messages will also include a campus telephone number (usually 278-5200) that you may call to verify the authenticity of the message.
