Join a Webex Meeting

These instructions outline how to join a Webex meeting. For more information on working in Webex, see our recommended Cisco documentation for your selected meeting style (Meeting Center, Training Center, Event Center, Support Center).

1.) Click 'Join Webex meeting' from the email invitation

Didn't get an email invitation? Visit elon.webex.com and enter the Meeting Number, then click 'Join.' If you do not have a Meeting Number, contact the host to receive one. This is required to join a Webex session.

2.) Your Webex session will launch

3.) Select audio connection and video connection from drop down menus.  Click 'Start Meeting' when you have the audio and video connection setup.

At this point, if you have a built-in microphone and VoIP, your computer can connect to audio. Alternatively, instructions (below) will appear with instructions on how to call in via phone. Note: Numbers are not toll-free and you will incur any charges for long distance.
