Visix: Content Approver Instructions

Program Summary

Visix allows you to approve and add content to a selected playlist and schedule when it will be displayed.

Approving Content

These are instructions for approving or removing unapproved content by other users.

Basic Instructions

  1. Navigate the Visix login page.

  2. Login using your Visix username and password. If you do not have a Visix login, contact the Technology Service Desk at (336) 278-5200.

  3. Once you're logged in, you should see a home page that looks like the image below.

  4. To view and approve content, follow the steps below, start by navigating to the "Manage" tab.

  5. Once you're in the Manage page, your screen should look like the one shown below.

  6. Click on the "Approve" option.

  7. Click on the "Playlists" option.

  8. To see a list of the contents that haven't been approved yet click on the option "Not Approved."

  9. Note that all of the content items that haven't been approved will appear in a red highlight.

  10. To approve content click on the "Approve" button.

  11. If you do not want to approve the content, hit the "Remove from Schedule."

Creating Content

These are instructions for creating content to be displayed on the desired screen.

Basic Instructions

  1. Navigate the Visix login page.

  2. Login using your Visix username and password. If you do not have a Visix login, contact the Technology Service Desk at (336) 278-5200.

  3. Once you are logged in, you should see a home page that looks like the image below.

  4. Navigate to the "Import" tab.

  6. Name the slide appropriately. For example, if you are importing a movie poster, name the content the same name as the movie.

  7. Select the correct Aspect Ration (Turner Theatre. Make sure the Aspect Ratio is set to Portrait (9:16)).

  8. Import the media you want by clicking on the "Choose Files" button.

  9. Click on "Upload" to upload your media and a preview of your content will be displayed on the right.

  10. Click on the "Next" button in the top right corner.

  11. On this page, you will be scheduling the pace of your media and the dates it will run.

  12. The pace of your content is the amount of time your content will be displayed on the screen before rotating to the next in the queue.

  13. Be sure to select the dates to and from when you want your content to be displayed.

  14. Finally, scroll down on the screen to select which playlist you would like your content to be displayed on.

  15. Once you have everything set the way you'd like it, click on the "Done" button.

     

     

    Since you are a content approver, you do not have to wait for your content to be approved, it will be automatically added to the schedule.
