How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Log off when finished.
  4. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Desktop (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Turn on the projector using remote provided.
  4. Use to present as needed.
  5. To power the system off, press the Power Off button on the same remote.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom leftside of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

2.) Student Desktop (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
  4. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom leftside of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

3.) Projector (Canon)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, VGA, DVD, VCR, CD, Composite, and AUX).
    Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  3. The projector will display whatever is selected on the touch screen control.
  4. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
