Managing an Existing Account in E-Alert

Manage an existing E-Alert account

  1. Go to Elon's E-Alert home page
  2. Click on the Manage Your Account link at the right
  3. Log in with your E-Alert username and password (this may or may not be the same as your Elon email)
  4. Follow the steps below to manage your account

Change/update which alerts you receive

  1. Click on the Groups tab
  2. You are set to receive messages listed under Active Groups. Click Unsubscribe to stop receiving messages from a particular group
  3. You can begin receiving messages from additional groups listed under Available Groups. Click Subscribe to receive alerts from that group

Change/update alert method

  1. Click on the Services tab
  2. From here you can add or remove cell phone numbers (txt messaging) or email addresses
  3. It’s important that each method is validated. If it is not, click here for more information

Change your password

  1. Click on the Account tab
  2. Enter your old password and a new password

Delete your account

  1. Click on the Account tab
  2. Select the box that says "I Agree, Terminate My Account"
  3. Click the box that says "Terminate Account Now"
  4. Once you have terminated your account, you must contact Technical Support to re-enable it
