Located on the first floor of Alamance, this space operates as a conference room that can seat up to 32 people. This room includes a projector and a touch panel that controls the technology in the room.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Tap the Crestron touch panel to turn on the system.
  2. The system will take 45 seconds to turn on.
  3. The system automatically connects to AirMedia.
  4. To choose a different input setting select VGA or HDMI.
  5. To turn off the system, tap the power button and tap, "Yes, power down."

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (VGA, HDMI, AirMedia).
  3. Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.

  4. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

Laptop (HDMI & VGA) Instructions

  1. Choose the desired input.
  2. VGA

  4. For VGA connect the laptop using the VGA cord to the right of the desk.

  5. For HDMI connect the laptop using the HDMI cord to the right of the desk.

  6. Ensure that your device is on.

AirMedia Instructions

  1. Make sure that the Crestron system is on.
  2. Select the "AirMedia" option on the touch panel controller.

  3. A screen similar to the one shown below will be projected.

  4. Go the URL displayed at the top of the screen, it will take you to a page that looks similar to the one below.

  5. If you have not used AirMedia before in this room, download it by clicking on the respective buttons.                                                                                                                       Computer Screen of AirMedia Download
  6. Once you have downloaded it, locate it in your download folder and then open it.
  7. A small panel will appear on your device with an input box.
  8. Type in the Room Code that is projected at the bottom left of the projected screen into the input box on your device.
  9. Press the "Connect" button, and your device screen will appear on the projected screen.
  10. To stop presenting, click on the disconnect button.

 

2.) Projector (Canon)

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the projector.
  2. Use the touch screen control to mute the projector.
  3. Turn the projector off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
