This room serves as a class room with seating available for 26 people.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Press anywhere on the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Connect your laptop to the system using the provided cables built into the instructor station.
    Connecting a Mac may require cable adapters which are not provided.
  3. Select the appropriate input from the touch screen to display it on the television (Computer, Blu-ray, TV, and CD).
  4. Press System Off, located on the top right of the touch screen control to power off the system.

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, VGA, DVD, VCR, CD).
  3. Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.

  4. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

Desktop Instructions

  1. Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.

  2. Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and password.

 Laptop Instructions

  1. Tap on the Computer tab on the touch panel. Select the desired connection type (HDMI or VGA).

  2. Plug in your device using the VGA cord and the audio connection for VGA or using the HDMI cord.
  3. Ensure that your device is on.

DVD Instructions

  1. The Blu-Ray player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
  2. Insert your DVD into the player.
  3. Tap on the Blu-Ray tab on the touch panel.

  4. The touch panel will display DVD controls.
  5. Use the buttons displayed to control the Blu-Ray player.

CD Instructions

  1. The CDs can be played from the Blu-Ray player.
  2. Insert your CD into the player.
  3. Tap on the CD tab on the touch panel.

  4. The touch panel will display CD controls.
  5. Use the buttons displayed to control the CD player.

 

2.) Television (Sharp)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Press anywhere on the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 15 seconds to warm up.
  2. Select the appropriate input from the touch screen to display it on the television (Computer, Blu-ray, TV, and CD).
  3. Press System Off, located on the top right of the touch screen control to power off the system.

 

3.) Web Camera (Avaya)

Additional Room Features

  • Available in this room are white board walls. The white board walls in Carlton 119 are the larger blue wall, and the white wall that the television is mounted to. All other walls in this room are not white board walls, and are not suitable for marking.
