Located on the first floor of Global D, this room serves as a classroom with seating available for 32 people. This classroom includes a projector, a document camera, and a touch panel controlling the entire room.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Touch the screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD/VCR, BluRay, TV, CD, DocCam, and AUX).
      Laptop/Device inputs are built into the top of the work station.
  3. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  4. Login with your Elon username and password.
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input.

2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  4. Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
  5. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

3.) Projector (Canon)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD/VCR, BluRay, TV, CD, DocCam, and AUX).
      Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  3. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.

 

4.) Web Camera (Avaya)

5.) Document Camera (WolfVision)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
  2. Select the document camera on the touch screen control.
  3. Document camera is ready for use.
  4. Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
  5. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.

  • Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for Auxiliary (1), Ethernet (2), Composite (3), Electrical (4), HDMI (5) and VGA (6).
