This room is located on the second floor of KOBC and serves as a classroom with seating for 35 people. This classroom includes a projector, a desktop computer, and a touch panel controlling the entire room.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Tap the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Computer, Laptop, DVD).
Laptop/Device inputs are built into the cable cubby at the table top of the work station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the "System Off" button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the "Shut Down" button (click the Windows button on the bottom leftside of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, DVD).
- Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
Desktop Instructions
- Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.
- Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and password.
HDMI Instructions
- Tap on the HDMI tab on the touch panel.
- Plug in your device using the HDMI cord.
- Ensure that your device is on.
VGA Instructions
- Tap on the VGA tab on the touch panel.
- Plug in your device using the VGA cord (5) and the audio connection for VGA (4).
- Ensure that your device is on.
DVD Instructions
- The DVD player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
- Insert your DVD into the player.
- Tap on the DVD tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display DVD controller buttons.
- Use the buttons displayed to control the DVD player.
2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right corner of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Select CMPTR tab on Crestron Control Panel.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR tab to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
3.) Projector (Canon)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Tap the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Computer, Laptop, DVD).
Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.
