Room Summary
This room serves as a presentation and group meeting area with seating available for 15 people.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Press the ON button on the control panel to turn on the Smartboard system.
- Turn the system off by pressing and holding the OFF button located to the right of the ON button on the control panel.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom leftside of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Control Panel (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Press the ON button to turn on the system.
- Select an input by pressing PC, LAPTOP, DOC CAMERA, DVD, VCR, AUX.
- To use a person device, use the VGA and audio cords located in the cable cubby on the left side of the instructor station.
- Adjust system volume by turning the volume knob located on the right side of the control panel.
- Adjustment to VCR and DVD media can be made using the buttons located on the bottom row.
- Channel selection can be made using the directional CHANNEL buttons located on the top row of the control panel.
- Press and hold the OFF button to turn off the SMART Board system.
2.) Desktop (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Select PC from control panel inputs to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the OFF button located next to the ON button.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
3.) Smartboard
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Press the ON button on the control panel in order to turn on the SMART Board system.
- To write on the board, select a pen from the pen rack on the bottom of the SMART board.
- To erase board writing, either use the eraser or use your hand in the shape of a fist to erase.
- To type information on to the screen, press the keyboard button located to the left of the eraser.
- To right click on the screen, press the mouse button located to the right of the eraser.
- Press and hold the OFF button on the control panel to turn off the SMART Board system.
4.) Document Camera (Wolfvision)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Select the document camera on the touch screen control.
- Document camera is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
- To turn the system off, press the off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.
5.) Web Camera (Avaya)

This room is equipped with an Avaya HC020 web camera to use with web conferencing. Please review the articles below for additional information.
