This classroom is located in the basement of Schar Hall. It serves as a classroom and can seat 20 students. It has a desktop computer, a touch panel controller, and three TV Displays.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the back bottom left of the monitor.
- Turn on the touch panel controller by tapping the panel. It will take about 30 seconds to warm up.
- Log into the computer using your Elon username and password.
- Select your desired input using the touch panel controller (Desktop, Laptop, AirMedia, DVD, or Document Camera).
- Turn off the computer by clicking the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen and then select the "Shut Down" option.
- Turn off the touch panel controller by tapping the power button located on the top right of the panel.

1.) Touch Panel Controller (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch panel to turn on the system.
- The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch panel control to select the desired input.
- To turn the system off, press the power button located on the top right of the touch panel control.
- Select the "YES Shut Down System" button to turn off the system.

Desktop Instructions
- Select the "Desktop" option on the touch panel controller.
- Ensure that the computer is on or else nothing will appear on the screen.

Laptop/HDMI Instructions
- Select the "Laptop" option on the touch panel controller.
- Plug in your device using the HDMI cord located in the middle of the desk.
- Ensure that your device is on.

AirMedia Instructions
- Select the "AirMedia" option on the touch panel.
- A screen similar to the one shown below will be projected.
- Go the URL displayed at the top of the screen, it will take you to a page that looks similar to the one below.
- If you have not used AirMedia before in this room, download it by clicking on the respective buttons.
- Once you have downloaded it, locate it in your download folder and then open it.
- A small panel will appear on your device with an input box.
- Type in the Room Code that is projected at the bottom left of the projected screen into the input box on your device.
- Press the "Connect" button, and your device screen will appear on the projected screen.
- To stop presenting, click on the disconnect button.

Additional AirMedia Instructions
- To display three different AirMedia sources on to three separate screens, start by clicking the "Breakout" button at the top of the touch panel.
- Each TV will display an AirMedia screen with unique AirMedia URL and room code.
- Connect the three desired input devices to each AirMedia by following the AirMedia instructions above.
- To return to all screens presenting the same input device click on the "Present" button at the top of the touch panel.

DVD Instructions
- Select the "DVD" option on the touch panel controller.
- On the touch panel controller, there will be a DVD remote controller displayed, as shown above.
- Put your DVD in the DVD player located in the rack below the desk.
- Use the buttons of the controller to control the DVD player.

Document Camera Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select Document Camera on the touch screen control.
- Document camera is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.
Additional Touch Panel Instructions
- To customize what is on each individual TV screen, tap on the "Custom" button at the top of the touch panel.
- A screen similar to the one below will display on the touch panel.
- Tap on one of the "LCD Display" buttons and then tap on one of the input options on the touch panel.
- The selected input should appear on the selected screen about 10 seconds after making the selection.
- Repeat the previous step for the other "LCD Display" options.
- Tap on the "Done" button when you are finished selecting your inputs.
- To return to displaying one input on all screens, tap on the "Present" button at the top of the touch panel.

2.) Desktop Computer (Apple)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the back of the monitor on the bottom left side.
- Login using your Elon username and password.
- Turn off the computer by clicking on the Apple logo on the top left corner of the screen, then select the "Shut Down" option.

4.) TV (Sharp)

- Tap on the touch panel to turn on the system. It will take about 30 seconds for the system to turn on.
- Use the touch panel control panel to select the desired input.
- Your input will be displayed on the TV screens.
- Turn off the system tap the power button on the top right of the touch panel.
- Tap on the "YES Shut Down" button.
