This room is located on the second floor of Long. It is a conference room with seating for 10 people.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the back bottom left of the monitor.
  2. Turn on the touch panel controller by tapping the panel. It will take about 15 seconds to warm up.
  3. Log into the computer using your Elon username and password.
  4. Select your desired input using the touch panel controller (Desktop, Laptop, AirMedia, DVD, or Document Camera).
  5. Turn off the computer by clicking the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen and then select the "Shut Down" option.
  6. Turn off the touch panel controller by tapping the power button located on the top right of the panel.

1) Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the front side of the equipment rack.
  2. Login using your Elon username and password.
  3. Turn off the computer by clicking on the power button logo on the top left corner of the screen, then select the "Shut Down" option.

2) Touch Panel Controller (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch panel to turn on the system.

  2. The system will take 15 seconds to warm up.
  3. Use the touch panel control to select the desired input.
  4. To turn the system off, press the power button located on the top right of the touch panel control.
  5. Select the "YES Shut Down System" button to turn off the system.

Desktop Instructions

  1. Select the "Desktop" option on the touch panel controller.
  2. Ensure that the computer is on or else nothing will appear on the screen.

Laptop Instructions

  1. Select the "Laptop" option on the touch panel controller.
  2. Plug in your device using the HDMI cord located in the middle of the desk.
  3. Ensure that your device is on.

AirMedia Instructions

  1. Select one of the "AirMedia" options on the touch panel controller.
  2. A screen similar to the one shown below will appear on the TV screens.
  3. Go the URL displayed at the top of the screen, it will take you to a page that looks similar to the one below.
  4. If you have not used AirMedia before in this room, download it by clicking on the respective buttons.
  5. Once you have downloaded it, locate the file in your download folder and open it.
  6. A small screen will appear on your device with an input box.
  7. Type in the Room Code that is projected at the top right of the screen into the input box on your device.
  8. Click on the "Connect" button, and your device's screen will appear on the projected screen.
  9. To stop presenting, click on the stop button.

Additional AirMedia Instructions
  1. To display three different AirMedia sources on to three separate screens, start by clicking the "Breakout" button at the top of the touch panel.
  2. Each TV will display an AirMedia screen with unique AirMedia URL and room code.
  3. Connect the three desired input devices to each AirMedia by following the AirMedia instructions above.
  4. To return to all screens presenting the same input device click on the "Present" button at the top of the touch panel.

DVD Instructions

  1. Select the "DVD" option on the touch panel controller.

  2. On the touch panel controller, there will be a DVD remote controller displayed, as shown above.
  3. Put your DVD in the DVD player located in the rack below the desk.
  4. Use the buttons of the controller to control the DVD player.

Phone Instructions

  1. Select the "Phone" option on the touch panel controller.

  2. On the touch panel there will be a number pad to use to dial.
  3. You can use this feature for conference calls.
