Located on the first floor of McMichael, this room serves as a laboratory classroom with seating available for 22 students. This classroom includes a projector system, Crestron touch panel, 1 desktop computer, and a document camera.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Touch the screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, AirMedia, or Document Camera).
- Laptop/Device inputs are built into the top of the work station.
- To turn on the computer system, first press the power button on the right-side of the CPU (located on the top of the equipment rack).
- Turn on the monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom-right corner of the monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, then select "Shut Down" from the display menu.

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, LAPTOP, AIRMEDIA, and DOCUMENT CAMERA)
- Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
Desktop Instructions
- Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.
- Turn on the Desktop and login with your Elon and username and password.
Laptop Instructions
- Select the "Laptop" option on the touch panel controller.
- Plug in your device using the HDMI cord located in the cable cubby.
- Ensure that your device is on.
2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the top-left of the CPU (located to the left of the equipment rack).
- Turn on the computer monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the projector system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, then select "Shut Down" from the display menu.
3.) Projector (Panasonic)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, LAPTOP, AIRMEDIA, DVD).
Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
4.) Document Camera (WolfVision)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Select the document camera on the touch screen control.
- Document camera is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
- To turn the system off, press the off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.
4.) AirMedia 

- Select the AirMedia tab on the touch panel screen.
- The projector will display a screen similar to the one below.
- On your personal device, enter the URL displayed on both the touch panel and the projector screen into a browser.
- If you have not used AirMedia before, the website will provide instructions on how to download the required software.
- Once the software opens, it will prompt you for a room code. This is the four digit code found on both the touch panel and the projector screen.
- Select "connect" to begin your presentation. Use the buttons within the software on your device to control your presentation.
- To end your presentation, select "disconnect".
