Change Your Display Name in Gmail

Change the display name for student email accounts which is useful for students who have had their account compromised.

1.) Log into your email account at email.elon.edu

2.) Click the Settings button and select 'See all settings'

             

3.) Select the 'Accounts and Import' tab from the Settings screen and click 'edit info' on the 'Send mail as:' line

 

4.) Select your name from the list click 'Save Changes'

 

5.) Congratulations! Your email name will now display as your selected name
