Connect Classroom Technology to Microsoft Teams
Room Summary
This theatre is located on the first floor of the Koury Business Center. It is a large space where classes can be held, organizations can hold meetings and speakers can give presentations.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the right side of the monitor.
- Login using your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch panel located to the right of the computer to turn on the projector system. It will take about 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch panel to select your desired input.
- Turn off the system by pressing the power located on the top right of the panel. Then click the "YES - Shut down system" button.
- Turn off the computer by clicking on the setting option on the lower-left hand corner and selecting the "Shut Down" option.
- Alternatively, you can choose to only log out and leave the computer on by selecting the "Log Out" option.

1.) Desktop Computer (Dell)
Base Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button located on the bottom right side of the monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- To turn off the computer, click the Shut Down button by clicking on the settings option in the lower-left hand corner, then selecting "Log off" or "Shut down."
2.) Touch Panel Control (Crestron)
Basic Instructions
- Tap the touch panel to turn on the system.
- The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select the input that you want to display through the projector.
- To mute, select "Image Mute" in the upper left hand corner.
- To turn the system off, press the power button located on the top right corner of the touch panel control.
- Select the "YES Shut Down System" button to turn off the system.

Desktop Instructions
- Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.
- Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and password.

Laptop Instructions
- Ensure that your device is on.
- If connecting to the wall plate at the front of the room, tap "Laptop-Front".
- If connecting to the wall plate at the back of the room, tap "Laptop-Rear".

AirMedia Instructions
This room is equipped with AirMedia. AirMedia is a way to present that allows users to wirelessly connect to the room's audio and visual system (i.e. speakers and projector).
Blu-Ray/DVD Instructions
- The Blu-Ray/DVD player is located in the equipment rack next to the computer.
- Turn on the Blu-Ray/DVD player by pressing the switch on the left hand side.
- Tap on the Blu-Ray/DVD tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display Blu-Ray/DVD controller buttons.
- Use the buttons displayed to control the Blu-Ray/DVD player.
- Eject the Blu-Ray/DVD manually by pressing the button on the right side of the DVD player.

2.) Wall Plate (Crestron)
Basic Instructions
- Connect device to Wallplate using HDMI cord.
- There is a wall plate at the front of the room.
- There is an other wall plate at the back of the room.
3.) Projector (Canon)
Basic Instructions
- Touch the touch panel to turn on the system. It should take about 30 seconds to warm up and turn on.
- Use the touch panel to select the desired input.
- To turn off the system, press the power button on the top-right of the touch panel.
