Room Summary


This room is on the first floor of the Center for the Arts. It can hold 25 students.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Touch the screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, Doc Cam, Aux).
- Laptop/Device inputs are built into the top of the work station.
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the top right of the CPU (located on the top of the equipment rack).
- The desktop computer in the room is the default computer.
- Turn on the computer monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Desktop (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right corner of the monitor.

- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop on the to touch panel to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
- To turn the computer off, press the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer.
2.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, DVD, Doc Cam, Aux).

- Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.

- To turn the system off, press the power button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

Desktop Instructions
- Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.

- Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and password.
Laptop Instructions
- Tap on the Laptop tab on the touch panel.
- Plug in your device using the HDMI cord (3).

- Ensure that your device is on.
DVD Instructions
- The DVD player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
- Insert your DVD into the player.
- Tap on the DVD tab on the touch panel.

- The touch panel will display DVD controller buttons.
- Use the buttons displayed to control the DVD player.
Document Camera Instructions
- Select Doc Cam on the touch screen control.

- Document camera is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
AUX Instructions
- Other devices can be connected via the composite input.

- Tap on AUX tab on the control panel.

- The touch panel will display the AUX device options.
- You need to bring your own connection for the alternative device that is going to be used.
3.) Web Camera (Avaya)

4.) Projector (Canon)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the projector.
- Touch the touch screen control to mute the projector.
- Turn the projector off by pressing the System Off button on the top right side of the touch screen control.
5.) Document Camera (Wolfvision)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Select the document camera on the touch screen control.
- Document camera is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.
Additional Room Features
- Cable Cubby

Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for: HDMI, Ethernet, and Composite for external devices.
