A Canvas LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) app is an integration that extends Canvas's functionality by connecting external learning tools and resources directly within your courses. Canvas LTIs allow faculty to incorporate third-party educational applications, such as interactive simulations, digital content and quiz libraries, automatic grading tools, and collaborative learning platforms, directly into their Canvas courses. Examples of current Canvas LTIs include Zoom, Hypothes.is, Barnes & Noble, and many others.
To request a new Canvas LTI app, select "Submit a Request" and complete the form. Please allow 2–3 weeks for approved requests to be researched, tested, and implemented.
