1.) Click on the Apple Menu in the upper left of the screen, choose System Settings
2.) Click the 'Display' in the sidebar
3.) While holding the "options" key, click the "Detect Displays" button
For macOS 12 Monterey and Prior
1.) Click on the Apple Menu in the upper left of the screen, choose System Preferences
2.) Click on Displays
3.) Click the 'Display' tab
4.) While holding the "options" key, click the "Detect Displays" button
