Located on the third floor of Powell, this room serves as a classroom with a projector system and seating for 33 students.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the monitor.
- Login with your Elon email and password.
- Tap the touch panel to turn on projector system. It will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- On the touch panel, select the input you would like to display on the screen (CMPTR, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
- To turn the computer off, select the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, and then click the Shut Down button, located to the right of the display window.
- Turn the projector system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.

1.) Desktop computer (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right of the computer.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
2.) Touch panel (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
- Computer inputs (VGA and HDMI) are built into the top of the work station.
- To play a DVD, select the DVD tab on the touch panel. DVDs can be played with the Sony player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
- To play a VCR, select the VCR tab on the touch panel. VCRs can be played with the Sony player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
- To play a CD, select the CD tab on the touch panel. CDs can be played from the Dell CPU. Insert the CD into the tray (Dell CPU located on the top of the equipment rack in the work station).
- Other devices can be connected via the AUX cord.
- To mute the screen, press the image mute button in the top-left corner of the screen.

- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
Computer inputs are built into the table top of the instructor station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.
4.) Web Camera (Avaya)

- Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for: 1.) Electrical, 2.) Composite, 3.) Auxiliary, 4.) Ethernet, and 5.) VGA.
