Account Information for Elon University Alumni

Elon University alumni are provided with one account:

  1. Elon Account - Email
    1. Upon graduating, access to Elon resources such as email and other software applications will no longer be available. 

Note: If you are an alumni needing to request a transcript, you should visit the Registrar's Transcript site.

Managing your account

Domain Access (Wireless, Public Computer and Lab Access)

Graduates will have domain access, allowing wireless access and public computer login, for 30 days following graduation. Thereafter, wireless and domain access will be unavailable.

To gain access to public computers located in Belk Library (only) following the deactivation, visit the Belk Library Information Desk to request a 24-hour public account. Visit Guest Account Creation for more information.

Phoenix Card Access

Graduates phoenix cards will be deactivated in early June.

VPN Access

Graduates will have VPN access, allowing off-campus access to network resources, for 30 days following graduation.

Campus Technologies will never ask you for your password in an email
If you receive an email message asking you to verify account information or to take action to avoid loss of email service, delete the email. These messages are merely an attempt to lure you into revealing personal information to identity thieves. NEVER respond to messages asking you for your email password or email your password to anyone! Any legitimate communication from Information Technology regarding email accounts will be delivered through multiple channels including E-Net and campus mail. All legitimate messages will also include a campus telephone number (usually 278-5200) that you may call to verify the authenticity of the message.
