Find the Serial Number on Apple Computers

To find the serial number using software

1.) Click the Apple logo located in the top left of the screen

2.) Choose 'About This Mac' from the Apple Menu

To find the serial number located on the computer

  • Depending on their year, laptops at Elon will have the serial located on the bottom case.

The serial number on the back of the computer is circled
