These set to weeks by default. The template modules have headings that act as placeholders for you to organize your weekly content.

Navigate to the Modules section of your course by clicking Modules on the left hand navigation bar.
Find the module you want to move.
Click the three dots to the right of the module header
Click Move Contents
Select the module where you'd like to move your contents (e.g. Week 1) and the place within the module where you'd like your content to go (At the Top, Before, After, At the Bottom)
Click Move. Your module contents will move, but you will need to delete your old module heading.
Rearrange the module contents in a logical order by dragging them to a new place within the module.

Navigate to your course. Click Pages on the left navigation bar. At the top left of the window, click View All Pages.
Navigate to the page set as the Front Page. Click the three dots next to the page name and select Remove as Front Page.
Navigate to the page you would like to set as the Front Page. Ensure it is published (visible to course participants) by clicking the circle to the right of the page name until it displays a check mark in a green circle.
Click the three dots to the right of the page name. Select Use as Front Page.

Click Home on the Navigation bar on the upper left hand side of the window.
On the right hand side of the screen, find the button that says Choose Home Page
A window appears. Select one of the following as the Home Page:
- Course Activity Stream
- Pages Front Page
- Course Modules
- Assignments List
- Syllabus
Click Save.

The weekly buttons on the template home page are image files that have course links applied. You can easily change what these buttons link to if you prefer.
Navigate to the Front Page by clicking Pages on the navigation bar.
Click Edit at the top of the window.
Scroll down to the weekly buttons section. Click on a button (e.g. Week 1).
Click Remove Link.
Select the button by clicking on it, and then click on the link button in the ribbon above the edit window. Select Course Link.
Find the content you'd like to link to (e.g. Page, Module, etc) and click on it to link to it.
