This article show how to use Respondus LockDown Browser on the students side using apps anywhere. https://appsanywhere.elon.edu/login
For Mac Users.
1. Find LockDown Browser in AppsAnywhere
Using the link provided at the top, sign in to your account and use the top search bar to look for "LockDown Browser." Click in the option that says visit website (1).
2. Install LockDown Browser on your computer
Once on the LockDown website, click on the download button (2).
Once the download is complete, you will notice a zip file. You can double-click it to extract it in your downloads then click on the package install file. From there just allow (3) and continue (4) until it says installation was successful. Then, you can close it. Now that the app is installed, you can open it and sign in to Canvas to take your quiz.
For windows users
1. Install Apps anywhere (if not in your device yet)
Follow the instructions on this link https://elon.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1947/ITSelfServicePortal/KB/Article/84519/Install-AppsAnywhere-Windows to install Apps anywhere on your device.
2. Find LockDown Browser and launch.
Go to Apps Anywhere and look for LockDown Browser. Click on Launch to launch the browser. It opens Canvas by default.
