Map Network Drives on a Windows Device

1.) Press the Win + E

2.) In File Explorer, right-click This PC

3.) Select "Map network drive..."

4.) In the Drive, select a drive letter that is not already in use.

5.) In the folder field, enter:

  • For Departmental Shared Drives:

    • \\homedir.elon.edu\dept\department name\share

  • For Personal Network Storage:

    • \\homedir.elon.edu\username

6.) If prompted, enter your Elon username and password.

  • If you encounter issues, try entering your username as:

    • FS\username

7.) Click Finish
