Please be aware that the software available for your personal device differs from the software provided on computer lab workstations. Some software license agreements are only valid for Elon-owned devices. If you have an Elon-owned device and require the same access as the computer lab workstation, please submit a request.
Install the AppsAnywhere client and Cloudpaging Player
- Open your preferred web browser
- Go to https://appsanywhere.elon.edu
- Use your Elon username and password to log in
- When prompted at the "Is AppsAnywhere installed on your device?" select "Install now"

- The AppsAnywhere installer will launch in a separate pop-up window, run the AppsAnywhere installer


- Once the AppsAnywhere launcher has been installed, click the "I have completed installation"

- Click on "View all apps" or in the search box, type in the name of the application.


- When you launch an app from the portal, AppsAnywhere will request access to your files or folders. By clicking "Confirm," you can save or open documents directly on your computer for each application.

- Select the location of your files (typically the home icon plus your username) and open.

- Select "Done" to confirm. To allow additional access, click the blue link.

- The Parallel client will launch and connect to the AppsAnywhere server, resembling a Windows machine. After installing the AppsAnywhere launcher, you can hover over and click on "Launch" to start an application.
To find and open local files when using AppsAnywhere:
- To open documents from your Mac in the application, start by navigating to "This PC" on the Parallel Client. Under the "Devices and Drives" section, you will see a drive labeled "Drives on [Mac COMPUTER NAME]" -- NOT "OS(C:)". From this drive, you can browse to find the files on your Mac that you want to open using AppsAnywhere programs.
