This room serves as a classroom with seating available for 50 people.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon user name and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
  4. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, or Document Camera).
      Laptop/Device inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

1) Touch the screen to turn the system on.  The projector should turn on and the projection screen should lower.

2) Select the appropriate connection (Desktop, Laptop, or AirMedia).

3) To shutdown the system touch the power button on the top right hand side of the screen and choose "Yes" on the following screen.

2.) Desktop (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

1) Turn the computer on by opening the primary cabinet door and pressing the power button on the right hand side of the Dell computer.

2) Log in using your Elon user name and password

3.) Projectors and TVs (Canon, Panasonic)

Basic Operating Instructions

1) Turn the touch screen on.

2.  The projector and TVs will turn on with the system and the display options can be modified by choosing "Display" on upper right hand side of the touch screen.

2) The projector image can be muted and the projector screen raised without turning off the system.

3) The TVs can be turned off without turning off the system.

4.) AirMedia

Basic Operating Instructions

1) Turn the touch panel on by touching the screen.

2) Choose AirMedia on the touch screen.

3) Connect your computer by typing in the IP address into the browser window on your computer.

5.) Web Camera (Vaddio & Avaya)

This room is equipped with a Vaddio RoboShot web camera, facing the front of the room, to use with web conferencing.

1) Use the remote to change the camera angle and zoom.

This room is also equipped with an Avaya HC020 web conferencing camera located on the instructor station facing the classroom.
To use this camera select Avaya HC020 from the video settings when working with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other web conferencing software.

Additional Room Features


Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides an input for the HDMI connection and a power outlet.

Multiple mobile whiteboards and a writable dry erase wall have been installed in this space.
