Located on the second floor of the Francis Center, this space serves as a conference room that seats 12.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the front of the CPU underneath the desk.
  2. Turn on the monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom right.
  3. Login with your Elon username and password.
  4. Turn on the system by pressing the top left button on the button panel.
  5. Select the desired input on the panel (PC, Laptop, HDMI, DVD, VCR, and AUX)
  6. Turn off the system by holding the off button.

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system.

Desktop Instructions

  1. Press the PC button to display the PC.

DVD/CD Instructions

  1. The DVD/CD player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
  2. Insert your DVD/CD into the player.
  3. Press on the DVD button.
  4. Use the buttons on the panel to control the player.

VCR Instructions

  1. The VCR player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
  2. Insert your VCR into the player.
  3. Press the VCR button
  4. Use the buttons on the panel to control the player.

AUX Instructions

  1. Press the AUX button
  2. Use the buttons on the panel to control the player.

 

2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the front of the CPU underneath the desk.
  2. Turn on the screen by pressing the power button on the bottom right.
  3. Login with your Elon username and password.
  4. To power the desktop computer off, click the start menu in the bottom left side of the desktop screen, then select the power icon, and either click Log Off or Shut Down.

 

4.) Projector (Canon)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
      Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  3. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.

 

Additional Room Features

  • The work station includes the desktop computer, telephone, button panel control, DVD/VCR player, as well as built in device inputs for: 1) Electrical, 2) VGA, 3) HDMI, 4) Ethernet, 5) USB, 6) Auxiliary, and 7) RCA.
