For scanning documents into eDocs via the browser.

Please ensure:

  • The user signed into Windows is a member of that machine’s Administrators group
    • If not, ask the Service Desk to make you one.  To do that they will need to know the machine name:  in Start \ Settings (gear icon) \ System \ "Device name"
  • All Windows and hardware manufacturers’ updates are applied and the machine has been rebooted.
  • The scanning device is powered on.
  • The version of the installer you’ve downloaded is 11.4.0.328 or higher
    • You can move it to Downloads, or right-click and find it in the Properties dialog Details tab.
    • If it isn’t, please clear the browser’s cached files and retry:

  • If it still doesn’t work please create an installation log by launching the installer from Start \ Run or a console:
