Access LinkedIn Learning

Activate Your Account

To get started, you must first activate your account:

  • For the best user experience, log out of your LinkedIn account prior to activating your LinkedIn Learning account.

  • Click on the activation link to activate your account: If you are not already logged in with your Elon email username and password, you will be directed to the login page where you can enter your credentials. Then, you will be directed to your LinkedIn Learning account.

  • Upon activation, you will be given the option to connect your personal LinkedIn profile or create a separate LinkedIn Learning account during activation. If you choose to connect your LinkedIn profile, you will receive personalized recommendations for your skills and position, and see what topics are trending on LinkedIn Learning.

When accessing LinkedIn Learning Training for the first time, you will be asked to enter additional profile information. This information is optional and will not affect your access to tutorials.

LinkedIn Learning Tips and Tricks

Sharing Tutorial Links

After logging in as an Elon user and navigating to a tutorial page, locate the arrow in the upper right-hand corner and click to view sharing options.

Members can share tutorial links through LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

Track your progress

The "In Progress" button on the LinkedIn Learning menu, at the top of the site, allows you to view your recent activity and movie history.

Certificates of Completion

The Certificates of Completion Program is an incentive that rewards users for completely watching a course. Upon completion of a course, a certificate is automatically generated that may be viewed online, downloaded, or emailed to anyone you choose. We suggest members send either copies of their Certificates of completion or a link to their Certificates of completion to faculty, supervisors, colleagues or friends.
