To get started, you must first activate your account:

For the best user experience, log out of your LinkedIn account prior to activating your LinkedIn Learning account.

Click on the activation link to activate your account: If you are not already logged in with your Elon email username and password, you will be directed to the login page where you can enter your credentials. Then, you will be directed to your LinkedIn Learning account. See the Step-by-Step Instructions section below for a complete list of steps.

Upon activation, you will be given the option to connect your personal LinkedIn profile or create a separate LinkedIn Learning account during activation. If you choose to connect your LinkedIn profile, you will receive personalized recommendations for your skills and position, and see what topics are trending on LinkedIn Learning.
When accessing LinkedIn Learning Training for the first time, you will be asked to enter additional profile information. This information is optional and will not affect your access to tutorials.

Mobile App
Access to LinkedIn Learning is available on mobile devices by downloading the LinkedIn Learning app on the App Store or Google Play.
iPhone/ iPad First Time Use
When using the iPhone/iPad app, you must first select the
web portal access button, and then, enter "elon.edu" in the URL field. You will then be prompted to enter your Elon username/password. If you are unable to log in, please log in at
www.elon.edu/linkedinlearning, and then, go back to the LinkedIn Learning web app.

AI-Powered Coaching
AI-Powered Coaching is a chatbot feature in LinkedIn Learning that provides personalized learning advice and resources to professionals in real-time. The chatbot can answer your questions in real-time, referencing the entire LinkedIn Learning library of resources to provide expert-informed answers and links to relevant courses and additional information.

Sharing Tutorial Links
After logging in as an Elon user, open a video or course of your choice. Locate the 'Share' arrow in the upper right-hand corner and click to view sharing options.
Members can share video and course links through LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, Teams, email, direct link, or Embed code.
Progress Tracking
The 'In Progress' section on the Home Page allows you to view your recent activity. Clicking on the 'In Progress' link will take you to My Library, where you can filter courses in progress by In progress, Saved, My Collections, items assigned by Elon University, Recommended by Elon University, and Learning History,
Career Goals
The 'Career Goals' feature allows learners to explore and navigate career paths by personalizing the learner experience based on their professional goals. Once set, you can access new resources in My Goals within My Learning and on the homepage to achieve your career goals.

Certificates of Completion
The Certificates of Completion Program is an incentive that rewards users for completely watching a course. Upon completion of a course, a certificate is automatically generated that may be viewed online, downloaded, or emailed to anyone you choose. We suggest members send either copies of their Certificates of completion or a link to their Certificates of Completion to faculty, supervisors, colleagues, or friends.
