Located on the first floor of Belk Pavilion, room 116 serves as a meeting room and features video conferencing capabilities.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Press the power button on the TV remote to turn the TV on.
  2. Press the input button on the TV remote to switch between the Vaddio Station, AirMedia, HDMI Wall Plate, and VGA Wall Plate.
  3. To power off the TV, press the power button again.

1.) TV (Sharp)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Press the power button on the TV remote to turn the TV on.
  2. Press the input button on the TV remote to switch between the Vaddio Station, AirMedia, and the Wall Plate input.
  3. To power off the TV, press the power button again.

 

2.) AirMedia (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Press the power button on the TV remote to turn the TV on.

  3. Using your web browser, navigate to the URL shown on the upper left of the display (http://Belk116.elon.edu ). You will see download links for both Mac and PC.

  4. After the download has completed, double click the Crestron AirMedia logo as seen below. You may be asked to confirm the installation; click Allow.
  5. Once the program has opened, you will be asked for the Code, which is displayed on the upper right of the display.

  6. Your screen should now be displayed on the TV. To stop sharing, press the Stop icon in the Crestron AirMedia control window.

3.) Conferencing Station (Vaddio)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Press the power button on the TV remote to turn the TV on.

  2. Press the input button on the TV remote to switch to the Vaddio (HDMI 2) input.

  3. Turn on the Vaddio Station by tapping the green power icon (Shown as number 4 on diagram). (The green LED will illuminate to indicate system is powered on.)

  4. To make a phone call, dial the number, followed by the green phone icon (number 2 on diagram). You will need to dial an 8 first for outbound calls. To stop the phone call, press the red phone icon (number 3 on diagram). (This unit's phone number is 1-336-278-7711.)
  5. To adjust the volume, tap the volume up and volume down icons on the right of the station (number 7 on diagram). You can also tap the mute icon at the bottom of the station to mute the mic.
  6. To make a video call (Zoom, Teams, etc), connect the USB and HDMI or VGA cables to your computer. Detailed instructions for different applications are shown below.
  7. To switch between HDMI and VGA, tap the different buttons at the top of the unit (number 9 on diagram).

4.) Wall Plate (Extron)

  1. Press the power button on the TV remote to turn the TV on.

  2. If you are using a VGA cable, connect it to the VGA/Computer input on the wall plate, as well as connecting the 3.5mm audio cable to the Audio input on the wall plate. Select VGA Wall (Input 8) on the TV, then connect the VGA cable to your laptop.

  3. If you are using an HDMI cable, connect it to the HDMI input on the wall plate, and select input HDMI Wall (HDMI 3) on the TV. Then connect the HDMI cable to your laptop.

HDMI and VGA Cables can be found in the box in the corner of the room. You may need to use an adapter to connect to your laptop.
