Room Summary
Located on the first floor of the Center for the Arts, this room serves as a classroom with seating for 26 students, a desktop computer, and a projector system.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button located on the bottom-left of back side of the monitor.
- Turn on the touch panel controller by tapping the screen. It will take about 30 seconds to warm up.
- Log into the computer using your Elon username and password.
- Select your desired input using the touch panel controller (Desktop, DVD, CD, Document Camera, Aux).
- Turn off the computer by clicking the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen and then select the "Shut Down" option.
- Turn off the touch panel controller by touching the power button located on the top-right of the panel.

1.) Touch panel (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen to select the desired input.
- Computer inputs (HDMI) are built into the cable cubby at top of the work station.

- To mute the screen image, press "Image Mute", located on the top-left of the touch screen.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
DVD instructions
- DVD can be played with the Sony player located on the equipment rack.
Document camera instructions
- Turn on the Document Camera to display a document on screen.

2.) Desktop computer (Mac)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-left of the back of the monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of the screen, and then select "Shut Down" from the drop-down menu.

4.) Projector (Canon)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, CD, DocCam, Turntable, Cassette).
- Computer inputs are built into the table top of the instructor station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right corner of the touch screen.
5.) Document camera (WolfVision)
Basic Operating Instructions
- To turn on the document camera, turn the power switch on the left side to the "on" position.
- Touch the Crestron touch panel to turn on the projector system, then select the "DocCam" tab to display the document on the screen.
- Use the controls on the front of the document camera to control zoom and width.
- To turn off the document camera, turn the power switch on the left side to the "off" position.

- Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for Ethernet, HDMI, and audio
