Room Summary

Located on the third floor of Duke, this space operates as a classroom that can seat up to 30 people. This classroom includes a desktop computer, a projector, an overhead projector, and a touch panel controlling all the technology in the room.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
Laptop/Device inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
The desktop computer in the room is the default computer.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Desktop Computer (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom leftside of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
2.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, VGA, DVD, CD, Aux).
- Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
VGA Instructions
- Tap on the VGA tab on the touch panel.
- Plug in your device using the VGA cord (1) and the audio connection for VGA (3).
- Ensure that your device is on.
DVD Instructions
- The DVD player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
- Insert your DVD into the player.
- Tap on the DVD tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display DVD controller buttons.
- Use the buttons displayed to control the DVD player.
VCR Instructions
- The VCR player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
- Insert your VCR into the player.
- Tap on the VCR tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display DVD controller buttons.
- Use the buttons displayed to control the DVD player.
CD Instructions
- The CDs can be played from the DVD player.
- Insert your CD into the player.
- Tap on the CD tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display CD controller buttons.
- Use the buttons displayed to control the CD player.
3.) Projector (Canon)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, VGA, DVD, VCR, CD, Composite, and AUX).

- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.

- Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for 1) Electric 2) Ethernet, 3) Audio cord for VGA, 4) Composite 5) VGA cord.
