This room serves as a computer classroom with seating available for 30 people.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the back bottom left side (as you're looking at the front) of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch panel control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  4. Use the touch panel control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch panel control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Apple button on the top left of the screen, then select Log Off or Shut Down).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, VGA, DVD, CD, Aux).
  3. Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.
  4. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

VGA Instructions

  1. Tap on the VGA tab on the touch panel.

  2. Plug in your device using the VGA cord (1) and the audio connection for VGA (3).
  3. Ensure that your device is on.

2.) Desktop Computer (Mac)

3.) Student Computer (Mac)

4.) Projector (Canon)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, HDMI, VGA, DVD, VCR, CD, Composite, and AUX).
    Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  3. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.

 

5.) Web Camera (Avaya)

6.) Document Camera (Wolfvision)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Select the document camera on the touch screen control.
  3. Document camera is ready for use.
  4. Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
  5. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.

Additional Room Features

The instructor station cubbies with additional equipment

  • Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for 1) Electrical, 2) Composite, 3) Auxiliary, 4) Ethernet, 5) HDMI, and 6) VGA.
