This room serves as a classroom with seating for 25 people.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  4. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, and DVD).
         Laptop/Device inputs are built into the table top of the instructor station.
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom leftside of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  4. Select Desktop on the touch panel to display the desktop on the projector screen.
  5. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

2.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, DVD).
  3. Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.

  4. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

Desktop Instructions

  1. Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.

  2. Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and password.

Laptop Instructions

  1. Tap on the Laptop tab on the touch panel.

  2. Plug in your device using either the HDMI or VGA cable, and select the appropriate source.

  3. Ensure that your device is on.

DVD Instructions

  1. The Blu-Ray player is located in the cabinet beneath the computer.
  2. Insert your disk into the player.
  3. Tap on the DVD tab on the touch panel.
  4. The touch panel will display DVD controller buttons.
  5. Use the buttons displayed to control the Blu-Ray player.

3.) Projector (Canon)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, DVD).
         Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  3. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.

 

4.) Web Camera (Avaya)

This room is equipped with an Avaya HC020 web camera to use with web conferencing. Please review the articles below for additional information.
