Located on the first floor of Koury Athletic Center, this room serves as a classroom with seating for 21 students. It includes a desktop computer, a touch panel, a projector system, and two whiteboards.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).

- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window)

1.) Desktop Computer (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
2.) Touch panel (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
- Computer inputs (VGA and HDMI) are built into the top of the work station.
- To mute the screen, press the image mute button in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.
DVD Instructions

- DVD can be played with the Sony DVD player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
VCR Instructions
-
- VCR can be played with the Sony VCR located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
CD Instructions
-
- CD can be played from Sony DVD player. Insert the disc into the tray.
AUX Instructions
-
- Other devices can be connected via the AUX cord.

5.) Projector Screen (Da-Lite)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Pull down on the string when projector is in use.
- Pull down again to retract the screen once use of projector is complete.
- Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for: 1.) VGA, 2.) Composite, 3.) Ethernet, 4.) Auxiliary, and 5.) Electrical. There is also an HDMI adapter for the VGA cable.
