This room serves as a classroom with equipment for lectures and presentations. Classroom 148 has seating for 35 people.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 40 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Computer, DVD/VCR, TV, CD, Doc Cam, and AUX).

- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 40 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input.
- Computer/device inputs (HDMI, VGA, AUX) are built into the top of the work station.
- AirMedia is also found within the CMPTR tab, follow the prompts given on the screen
- DVD/VCR can be played with the Toshiba player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
- TV input can be changed via the touch screen (located under TV tab).
- CD can be played from the DVD player, insert into the disc tray.
- Document camera can be selected and adjusted from the touch screen control.
- Other devices can be connected via the AUX cord.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
2.) Document Camera (WolfVision)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Select the document camera on the touch screen control.
- Document camera is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.
3.) Desktop Computer (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on the computer monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 40 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from computer inputs to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
4.) Projector (NEC)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 40 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, HMDI, VGA, composite, DVD/VCR, TV, CD, Doc Cam, and AUX).
