This room serves as a wet lab for Psychology and Human Service Studies and can seat 32 people.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 10 seconds to warm up.
  4. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Computer, Student PCs, DVD/VCR, TV, CD).
    Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 40 seconds to warm up.

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input.
    1. Computer/device inputs (HDMI, VGA, AUX) are built into the top of the work station.
    2. DVD/VCR can be played with the Toshiba player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
    3. TV input can be changed via the touch screen (located under TV tab).
    4. CD can be played from the DVD player, insert into the disc tray.
    5. Room observation can be selected under the Observation Room tab.
  3. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the top right of the CPU (located on the top row of the equipment rack).
  2. Turn on the computer monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  3. Login with your Elon username and password.
  4. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 10 seconds to warm up.
  5. Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
  6. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
  7. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

3.) Flat Panel Display (LG)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system.
  4. Select appropriate input to display on TVs (CMPTR, Student PCs, DVD/VCR, TV, CD).
  5. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

4.) Web Camera (Avaya)

Basic Operating Instructions

This room is equipped with an Avaya HC020 web camera to use with web conferencing. Please review the articles below for additional information.
