Room Summary

Located on the second floor of McEwen, this room serves as a classroom with seating available for 34 people. This classroom includes a projector, a document camera, and a touch panel controlling the entire room.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Touch the screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, TV, CD, DocCam, and AUX).
- Laptop/Device inputs are built into the top of the work station.
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the top right of the CPU (located on the top of the equipment rack).
- The desktop computer in the room is the default computer.
- Turn on the computer monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch panel to turn on the system.
- The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch panel control.
Desktop Instructions
- Under the Computer tab on the touch panel, click on the button that says, "Desktop".
- Make sure that the computer is on.
Laptop/HDMI/VGA Instructions
- Under the Computer tab on the touch panel, click on the button that reads "Laptop - HDMI" or "Laptop - VGA".
- Plug in your device using the HDMI or VGA cord.
- Ensure that your device is turned on.
DVD Instructions
- Tap on the DVD tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display a DVD controller. Put your DVD in the DVD player.
- DVD can be played with the Sony player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
VCR Instructions
- Tap on the VCR tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display a VCR controller that will allow you to control the VCR player from the touch panel.
- VCR can be played with the Toshiba player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
CD Instructions
- Tap on the CD tab on the touch panel.
- The touch panel will display CD player controls that will allow you to control the CD player from the touch panel.
- CD can be played from the Toshiba player, insert CD into DVD tray.
2.) Desktop Computer (Apple)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button located on the back left side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- To power the computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Apple button on the top left of the screen, then select Log Off or Shut Down).
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).
3.) Web Camera (Avaya)

4.) Projector (Canon)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
- Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
5.) Document Camera (WolfVision)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Select Doc Cam on the touch screen control.
- Document camera will turn on and is ready for use.
- Adjustments to zoom or lamp use can be made on the touch screen control.
- To turn the system off, press the off button located on the top right of the touch screen control or select another input to use.
Additional Room Features
- Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for Electrical (1), Composite (2), VGA (3), HDMI (4), Ethernet (5), and Auxiliary (5).
