Room Summary
This room is a lab on the first floor of McMichael with seating for 18 students. It includes a projector system, a touch panel, and a desktop computer for instructor use.
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Touch the screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Computer, DVD, VCR, CD, AUX).
Laptop/Device inputs are built into the top of the work station.
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Turn the projector system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, press the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer.

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input.
- Computer inputs (VGA and HDMI) are built into the top of the work station.

- DVD can be played with the Toshiba player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
- VCR can be played with the Toshiba player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
- CD can be played from the CD player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the work station.
- Other devices can be connected via the AUX cord.
- To mute the screen image, press "Image Mute," located on the top-left of the touch screen.
- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.

- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, DVD, VCR, CD, and AUX).
Computer inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
3.) Desktop Computer (Dell)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
- To turn the computer off, press the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer.
