Located on the first floor of McMichael with seating for 58 students.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, LAPTOP, AIRMEDIA, and DOCUMENT CAMERA).
    Laptop/Device inputs are built into the table top of the work station.
  3. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
    The desktop computer in the room is the default computer.
  4. Login with your Elon username and password.
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1.) Touch Panel Controller (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPTR, LAPTOP, AIRMEDIA, or DOCUMENT CAMERA).
  3. Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen. 
  4. To turn the system off, press the System OFF button located on the top right of the touch screen control. 

Desktop Instructions 

  1. Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel. 
  2. Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and passsword. 

Laptop Instructions 

  1. Select the "Laptop" option on the touch panel controller. 
  2. Plug in your device using the HDMI cord located in the cable cubby.
  3. Ensure that your device is one. 

AirMedia Instructions

  1. Select the AirMedia tab on the touch panel screen. 
  2. The projector will display a screen similar to the one beow. 
  3. On your personal device, enter the URL displayed on both the touch panel and the projector screen into a browser.
  4. If you have not used AirMedia before, the website will provide instructions on how to download the required software. 
  5. Once the software opens, it will prompt you for a room code This is the four digit code found on the touch panel and projector screen. 
  6. Select "connect" to begin your presentation. Use the buttons within the software on your device to control your presentation. 
  7. To end your presentation, select "disconnect."

2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of both computer monitors.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
  4. Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
  5. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

3.) Projector (Panasonic)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 30 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, AirMedia, or Document Camera).
    Computer inputs are built into the table side of the instructor station.
  3. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
