This room is on the third floor of McMichael. It can hold 30 students.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Touch the screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (CMPT, DVD, VCR, CD, AUX).
    Laptop/Device inputs are built into the top of the work station.
  3. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer monitor.
  4. Login with your Elon username and password.
  5. Turn the system off by pressing the System Off button located on the top-right side of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

1. Touch Screen Control (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

  2. Use the touch screen control to select the desired input.
    1. DVD can be played with the Sony player located on the top of the equipment rack in the workstation.

    2. VCR can be played with the Sony player located in the middle of the equipment rack in the workstation.

    3. CD can be played with the Sony player located on the top of the equipment rack in the workstation.

    4. Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top-left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.

  3. To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

2. Desktop (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 15 seconds to warm up.
  4. Select Desktop from CMPTR to display the desktop on the projector screen.
  5. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
  6. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

 

3. Projector (NEC)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Touch the touch screen control to turn on the projector.
  2. Touch the touch screen control to mute the projector.
  3. Turn the projector off by pressing the System Off button on the top-right side of the touch screen control.

 

4. Web Camera (Avaya)
