Blurry text in Microsoft Office

The blurry text is a 'feature' in Microsoft Office called soft text.

If you want to turn this off, perform the following:

1. In Microsoft Word, go to File -> Options.
2. Within that window, select Advanced and then scroll down to 'Display.'
3. Scroll to the bottom of that section and uncheck the option for 'Use subpixel positioning to smooth fonts on-screen.'
