Room Summary





Located in the basement of McMichael, this room serves as a classroom and lab with seating available for 24 people. This classroom includes a document camera, an overhead projector, and a touch panel controlling the entire room. The eye washing station is located in the adjoining room (Powell 308).
How to Use Room: Base Level Operations
- Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right of the monitor.
- Turn on the computer monitor by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Tap the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, AirMedia, or Document Camera).
Laptop/Device inputs are built into the cable cubby at the top of the work station.
- Turn the system off by pressing the "System Off" button located on the top right side of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window.

1.) Touch Screen Control (Crestron)
Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the screen to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.

- Use the touch screen control to select the desired input (Desktop, Laptop, AirMedia, or Document Camera).

- Press IMAGE MUTE, located on the top left to mute the screen image and adjust the height of the projector screen.

- To turn the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.

Desktop Instructions
- Tap on the Desktop tab on the touch panel.

- Turn on the Desktop computer and login with your Elon username and password.
Laptop Instructions
- Tap on the Laptop tab on the touch panel.

- Plug in your device using theHDMI cord.

- Ensure that your device is on.
AirMedia Instructions
Basic Operating Instructions
- Select AirMedia on the touch screen control.
- Input the displayed IP Address into the Crestron Airmedia Program on your laptop or phone.
- Input the displayed-pin in the provided box in the Crestron AirMedia Program.
- Once connected, laptop or phone display should appear on the Panasonic Projector.
2.) Desktop Computer (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the right side of the desktop.
- Login with your Elon username and password.
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the system. The system will take 45 seconds to warm up.
- Select Desktop from on the Touch Screen Control to display the desktop on the projector screen.
- To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top right of the touch screen control.
- To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom left side of the desktop screen).
3.) Projector (Panasonic)

Basic Operating Instructions
- Touch the touch screen control to turn on the projector.
- Touch the touch screen control to mute the projector.
- Turn the projector off by pressing the System Off button on the top right side of the touch screen control.
