This room is located on the second floor of Belk Library. It can be used for classes or presentations. It also could be used for a group project study area. It has 10 mobile whiteboards and one large whiteboard at the front of the room.

How to Use Room: Base Level Operations

  1. Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the bottom right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. Turn on the projector using the black control panel.
  4. Turn the system off by pressing and holding the Off button.
  5. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (Click the windows button in the bottom left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window)

1.) Control Panel (Crestron)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on the projector using the black control panel.

  2. The Screen will automatically roll down.

  3. You can control the screen's height by using the "Screen up" or Screen Down" buttons.
  4. Screen can be muted by selecting "Display Mute" on control panel.

  5. To turn off hold down the "Off" button on control panel.

PC/Laptop
  1. Select "PC/Laptop."

  2. Connect the laptop through either the HDMI (1) or VGA (2) cords in the cable cubby.

AirMedia
  1. Select "AirMedia"

  2. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to connect device.

 

2.) Desktop (Dell)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Turn on computer by pressing the power button on the bottom-right side of the computer monitor.
  2. Login with your Elon username and password.
  3. To power the system off, press the System Off button located on the top-right of the touch screen control.
  4. To power the desktop computer off, click the Shut Down button (click the Windows button on the bottom-left side of the desktop, the Shut Down button is located to the right of the display window).

4.) Projector (NEC)

Basic Operating Instructions

  1. Press the control panel to turn on the projector.
  2. Press the control panel to mute the projector.
  3. Use the control panel to roll the screen up or down.
  4. Turn the projector off by pressing the "Off" button on the control panel.

Additional Features

  • Cable Cubby

    Installed in the top of the instructor work station is a cable cubby which provides inputs for: 1) HDMI, 2) VGA, 3) ethernet, 4) Audio cord for VGA, and 5) Electrical.
