Enroll in Duo Security

In an effort to enhance cybersecurity protections at Elon University, the Office of Information Security will soon implement a mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) initiative for all faculty, staff and students. This will add layers of security to critical university systems and ultimately reduce the number of compromised accounts that impact the university community. 

1.) Visit Elon's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enrollment website and enter your Elon email username and password. Then, select ‘Login’ to begin.

2.) Enter your University ID where indicated, then select ‘Verify.’ Visit OnTrack to retrieve your University ID under ‘User Profile’ in the User Account section.

3.) Read details presented on the ‘Ready to Enroll?’ screen. Then, select ‘Enroll.’

4.) Next, select ‘Start Setup’ to continue the registration process.

5.) You are now prompted to add a device. Select the device you wish to add from the options noted below and you will be directed to the appropriate next steps in the registration process.

You may choose to add a landline phoneadd a mobile phone or add a tablet.
