Change or Reset the Login Keychain Password for OSX

This article only pertains to macOS 10.15 Catalina and prior

When a user changes their password using the Elon Self-Service Password Maintenance Site, their keychain becomes inoperable. This is due to the fact that the keychain does not sync with the user's login password. The user will either need to change the password manually to the new password or, if the old password is not known, the keychain will need to be deleted. A new keychain will automatically be generated once the user logs back in.

A user typically may see this message when their keychain is out of sync with the Elon email password:

This is the keychain login error message.
