Restart your computer
Shut down/restart your computer on a daily basis. Restarting your computer (Mac or Windows) will typically resolve most minor issues that you may be having.
Re-starting the computer refreshes the computer's RAM (random access memory), which is responsible for launching and running programs. The more free RAM, the faster your computer will run.
Computer speed
Limit the number of programs running at the same time (the more programs you have running, the slower your computer will run).
Program or Computer Not Responding
Windows: To force quit a program when it is not responding, hold down ctrl + alt + delete. Select Task Manager, and when the window appears, you
have the option to end the desired program.
