Listed below are planned downtimes for Moodle, Colleague (Ellucian), OnTrack, and major systems/services maintained by Information Technology.
We encourage you to note these windows of time while our mission-critical systems are updated and applications patched for security enhancements. Offices dependent on Colleague (Ellucian) should make provisions for this downtime in advance to prevent any lost work time.
We appreciate your support as we maintain and update our computing systems at Elon University. Should you experience trouble using any of these systems after the scheduled downtime, please contact the Technology Service Desk at 336-278-5200.
2023 Scheduled Downtimes
The following times are the approved downtimes for maintenance and software patches for major university computing resources, which includes (but is not limited to) Colleague (Ellucian), OnTrack, Moodle, 25Live, and Informer (Entrinsik).
All downtimes are on Sunday from 6:00am until Noon.
- January 15 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday is January 16)
- February 19
- March 19 (Last Day of Academic Spring Break)
- April 16 (Registration begins 4/13)
- May 21 (Grades due by 5/19)
- June 25
- July 16
- August 13
- September 17
- October 15 (Last Day of Academic Fall Break)
- November 19 (Students’ Thanksgiving Holiday)
